Amazake / fermented
rice drink

Nagori is a rice milk inspired by Japanese amazake and made through natural fermentation, which keeps the living essence of the grain. The project starts from that slow, almost invisible transformation: rice quietly turning into something white, alive and luminous. The concept, contained vitality, explores energy that stays beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to show itself. Drawing on Byung-Chul Han, the brand proposes slow presence, a different idea of happiness in an age of speed and performance. Nagori isn't about productivity or forced wellbeing but about contemplation, with time treated as an active ingredient.

Brand & Packaging

Nagori brings together two archetypes. The Innocent brings calm, purity and gratitude, and the Explorer adds a gentle curiosity for origin, material and process. Together they shape a serenely restless brand that explores stillness as if it were new terrain. Five keywords guide the design: fermentation, silence, time, form and presence. Each bottle is conceived as a piece of liquid design, simple in appearance and complex in meaning.
